Education

Did you know there are multiple ways to spell the word Mannequin? I didn't realize that. There is the way I just spelled it, which refers to something that stands in a shop window do show clothing. There is also 'Manikin' which refers to humanoid things that are used in education (such as a CPR training dummy).

The Right Mind

I'm not entirely sure that i was in my right-mind yesterday.

As I stopped by one of the bathrooms in the building where most of my classes are, I noticed something out of the ordinary. There was a nice padded chair in the corner. However, not really situated in a way that you could comfortably sit in it. It was on the right side of the sink, facing the sink, pushed up against the wall. I'm not sure I trust the sanitation of a padded chair in a bathroom. It just seems wrong.

Then, a little while later while walking down a hall, I was walking perpendicular to a girl with glasses. She turned and looked in my direction and her glasses caught the light coming from a light fixture overhead. At for a moment I thought her eyes were glowing!

Then later,as I was talking to some of my friends as I was leaving work we some how started discussing how I was the father of our workplace, that the mannequin in our window (which we named Jenny) was the mother, and everyone else were children. The thing is, Jenny didn't start out as a mannequin. She died in a fencing accident and the kids were to panicked to do anything to help her. But it was an accident and we didn't want to get into trouble so they hid her in the mannequin.

...

Yesterday was weird.

GASP

LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!! Click and drag to view it!

Note: My comment before was referring to being ably to post models that you can move and spin and stuff. It was not referring to my being able to 3D model something. Which, i can do. I'm just not asking you to be impressed.

Back by Popular Demand!

So, I guess everyone was looking forward to hearing about how my self prank went. i didn't realize that people would want to hear how it turned out.

It didn't work. Actually it almost did, but as I was walking toward the parking lot I remembered that I had done it. Sorry folks. But hey! I did make myself smile again on the way by thinking about it. That is all that is important right?

Even though all of you may be slightly disappointed by the result. Again, I am sorry.

Excitement!

Is it weird for me to get excited about all of the page-views I get on here and the other site I am working on? Every time I check it makes me happy to see that someone has visited my sites and stayed for a bit. It makes me feel popular. Even though i only get a few every day, I appreciate every one of you viewing this right now.

Self Deception

Today I did a crazy thing. The Parking lot I park in is always packed. Today I was there at just the right time to find a handful of spots open. But I didn't take the one closest to the building! Infact I didn't take the next closest one either. I took the one in the back and all the way to the left in the minisqule addition behind the trees.

Why did I do this? Good question. You see, today I decided to play a prank on myself.

Today I am at school for almost 10 hours. By the time I get out of my final class I have always forgotten where my car is, but that's ok because the parking lot is empty that time of night so it's hard to miss my car. Today, I parked where I did, for no other reason than to be able to come out and not instantly find my car! It will be great! To so perfectly play a prank on myself. The anticipation is killing me!

..... Hopefully my excitement won't make me remember what I have done....

Look Out Below!

I have a class this semester that sits on the top floor of a 4 level building. And each level is quite tall. 12 feet, I'm sure, before you reach the ceiling of a floor and at least 5 feet of stuff before the floor of the next level up. How do i know these lengths you ask? Well, the center of the building is open. So there is a large hole going from the roof of the building to the floor.

I'm not the type of person that is afraid of heights but I do make sure to hold onto something solid when I'm a good distance off the ground. But I am the type that wants to cause a ruckus. So many times I have wanted to drop something off the top floor just to watch it fall. Preferably something electronic. I can only imagine the satisfying crunch and explosion of plastic that would result! Someday, I will make it happen!
